Reservations are required for all equipment rentals. Reservations must be made two days prior to the equipment pick-up date. Reservations can be made by emailing coop@columbia.edu or calling Jason Anthony, COÖP Advisor at (212) 854-1371.

There in charge for reservations cancelled more than two days in advanced.
50% of rental fee charged if cancelled fewer than two days in advanced. No refunds for equipment not picked-up.

A 50% deposit based on total rental fee is required for a reservation. Deposit can be made by personal check or MasterCard/ Visa.

Equipment pick-up will be arranged by the COÖP coordinators and will accommodate your schedule as best as possible. You will receive an email noting your scheduled pick-up and drop-off dates and times.

Please return all items clean. There will be a $15.00 per item charge for each item that must be cleaned.

You are responsible for the full costs of repairs or replacement if equipment or gear is damaged, lost or stolen.

COÖP and Columbia University are tax-exempt institutions and therefore all assessed fees do not include tax.

Special arrangements can be made with the COÖP Advisor to pay assessed rental fees and deposits via an invoice or purchase order for educational and non-profit institutions. Please contact Jason Anthony at (212) 854-1371 for more information.

Columbia Outdoor Orientation Program is an educational non-profit organization, and therefore the fee schedule is assessed only to cover program costs. Fee schedule subject to change without notice.

All students who participated in a COÖP trip as a first-year student can reserve equipment at a 50% reduced fee.
All past and present COÖP Trip Leaders receive a 100% discount on all rentals.

Rentals are not available during the last three weeks of May or the last two weeks of August.
