Relevé

The goal of our team is to not only to educate the society of the beauty of different types of traditional, as well as modern, dances of the Latino American culture but to further the presence of underprivelaged individuals at IVY League campuses as we organize a philanthropic program called Relevé. Relevé is a week long mentoring session for underprivileged kids in the are of New York. The participants stay on campus with Sabor members and there are daily workshops which combine the arts and the academia. In addition, this is an opportunity for the mentees to receive help with college decisions. Such decisions may include choice of attendance, manners of financial benefit and essay/application processes. Sabor is a committed  to furthering the rise of underprivileged students as we see that money should not stop anyone from furthering our goals in life.

This year's Releve program is scheduled to begin on March 29 and end on April 1.
