Harvard University, M.B.A., 1973Mark Kingdon is President of Kingdon Capital Management, an investment management company which he founded in 1983. He previously worked for eight years at another investment firm, Century Capital Associates. Kingdon began his career with AT&T as a pension fund administrator. He is the 2003 recipient of Institutional Investor/Alternative Investment News' first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Kingdon is a member of the Columbia College Board of Visitors, and serves on the boards of the Harlem Children's Zone, Carnegie Hall, the New York City Police Foundation, and the Academy of Political Science. In 1998, he endowed the C. Lowell Harriss Professorship of Economics in honor of his undergraduate teacher and mentor. |
