Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I've lost my personal URL - how can I have it resent to me?

A: Send an email to [email protected] and it will be resent to you.

Q: If I have already logged into the e-commerce site -- will I be able to do so again?

A: No. The URLs are for one time use only, please make sure that you complete all your transactions once you have entered the site. You will not be able to re-use the URLs.

Q: I received an email informing me that my credit card purchase did not go through and that my transaction is still pending. . . What do I do now?

A: You have until 5 pm on the day of the transaction to complete the sale -- please come to the SDA Office, 515 Lerner Hall with the exact cash amount, the email notice that you received and CUID ID. If you have already paid, nothing else is required. Transactions that have not been completed will be placed back in the general pool for cash sales.

Q: I wanted to purchase a ticket to a specific event but it has sold out. Will I have another opportunity to purchase an available ticket?

A: All tickets purchases that have not cleared will be placed back in the general pool and offered for cash sales on Monday, May 10th from 10 am to 5 pm -- or until sold out -- in the Office of Student Development and Activities (515 Lerner Hall). If you have already completed a transaction using your personal URL but were unable to buy an event ticket because it was sold out at the time, you may have the opportunity to try again. However, if you have already purchased a ticket to a specific event, and you are trying to secure an additional one, then you will not be allowed to buy an extra ticket. Please arrive in SDA with your CUID, confirmation of purchase and the exact cash amount required. Tickets will be sold on a first come -- first serve basis, until sold out.

Q: The number of Ball tickets allocated to my school has sold out ...can I have someone from one of the other participating schools purchase tickets on my behalf?

A: Yes you can, provided that the purchaser of the ticket is present at the Senior Ball event with their CUID to verify purchase. You will be considered the guest of the ticket holder from the other school. You will also need appropriate ID to verify age.

Q: Can non-CUID holders purchase Senior Ball tickets? Can they attend the Ball?

A: Non CUID holders cannot purchase the event, but they can attend as the guest of CUID holders. Your party will need appropriate ID and a ticket for entrance.

Q: How do I reserve a table at the Senior Ball?

A: If you have purchased a ticket to the Senior Ball you will have an opportunity to reserve a table so that you many sit with your friends. While it is not necessary for you to reserve a table, it is advisable to do so. There is general seating available on a first come, first serve basis the night of the event. In order to reserve a table only one member of your party needs to sign up your group. Tables seat 10 people. If you are coming to sign up your friends, please bring with you their full names. It is imperative that the names of your party match those that are on our list. If they do not, you will be unable to sign up that student. Table reservation will take place in Lerner Hall on Sunday, May 9th, between 2 and 4. Look for the Senior Week committee table along the ramps in Lerner. At this time you should also bring any meal preferences (kosher, vegan, vegetarian) to our attention. This will be your only opportunity to reserve a table.

Q: Six Flag tickets have sold out -- what can I do?

A: Students who were unable to purchase a Six Flag ticket can always opt to buy tickets on their own, provide their own transportation and meet up with the group.

Q: How do I get on the bus to Great Adventure or into Yankee Stadium or into Troy (the movie)?

A: An instructional email will be sent out to each group of purchasers with detailed instruction which should reviewed carefully. What else do I need to know? * On-line ticket sales end on Sunday, May 9 at 11:59 p.m. * You will be responsible for your proof of purchases via your email confirmation or your SDA stamped receipt. Please do not lose these -- they will not be replaced. Make multiple copies for each event that you plan to attend.
