The Environmental Stewardship office will work closely with student, faculty and staff groups who are committed to the ongoing support of Columbia's formal and informal environmental stewardship activities, both on and off its campuses. The office will help the University in implementing practical programs to conserve resources and to promote a culture of environmental awareness on our campuses.

Services range from planning and managing complex new building construction to daily building grounds maintenance for academic and administrative departments on campus. Columbia University Facilities also provides public safety services at the University.

Columbia Technology Ventures is the Technology Transfer arm of Columbia University. In addition to the marketing and licensing of intellectual property, it serves as the major interface with industry developing sponsored research contracts and special relationships.

The division of Student and Administrative Services is comprised of Columbia University Information Technology, Human Resources and Student Services.
Columbia University Information Technology (CUIT) is the central IT organization at Columbia and provides computing and communications systems, services and support to faculty, students and administrators.
Human Resources is composed of the following departments: Benefits and Compensation, Organizational Services, Employee and Labor Relations, and Information Services.
Student Services is made up of the following departments: Housing & Dining; Health Services at Columbia; University Event Management, including Faculty House, Columbia Catering and the Student Center, Alfred Lerner Hall; Business Services, including Print Services, Mail and Transportation; and Student Financial Services and University Registrar.
