The Biomaterials Day at Columbia University will be a symposium focusing on the state-of-the-art biomaterials-related research that is being performed in the northeastern United States.  This event will provide an excellent forum for researchers, physicians, students, and industry representatives to examine this critical research area.  The Biomaterials Day will coincide with the Northeast Bioengineering Conference (NEBEC) which will be held at Columbia University from March 26-28th, 2010 and will include an entire day featuring a biomaterials-specific session on March 27th. In collaboration with the NEBEC, the Biomaterials Day is expected to attract over 600 conference attendees, with a large number of presentations and posters focusing on biomaterials endeavors.  In addition to lectures by leading researchers in the northeast region, events will include student poster presentations and lectures submitted by senior undergraduates and graduate students, workshops, networking events and more.
