- Recap on Carlson Leadership Academy - Feb. 9-10: East Brunswick, NJ NY Phi
Winner of 4 Awards: Scholarship Excellence, SigEp Dean's List, 2000 Winners
Circle, Manpower Excellence Awards. Congrats!
IV. New Business
- Decision on who will live in the house during the summer and next academic
year (tentative deadline for latter issue Feb. 18). Non E-board brothers interested
in House single: Alperovitch, Pelligrini, Agrawal, Hwang, Lora, Wolf, Sicular,
Hoffstetter Brothers Volunteer(s) for doubles: Brian Pelligrini. Further decisions
to be made @ Feb. 18 meeting.

- Congratulated chapter on Awards at CLA
- Next meeting, Tuesday Feb. 20rd @ 8 pm
VI. House Manager's Report - Brother Teklu
- New House Manager - Brother Agrawal
- Ken Martino is doing a good job with providing us with new supplies and repairs.
VII. IGC Report - Brothers Hoffstetter, Jelenko
- Dance Marathon & Carnival Recaps
- Jalenko: Dance marathon raised $103,000 for AIDS foundation. Lora did not
attend, but Garland did represent us.
- Hoffstetter: Awards banquet coming up soon. Wants two to three awards to be
won by brothers in the chapter. There are three individual awards that require
nominations: 1) Outstanding Senior; 2) Greek Man of the Year; 3) Outstanding
Young Leader. Deadline is March 19th and needs to be completed A.S.A.P. Steve
will distribute the nomination sheets.
- Applications for Judicial Board were given out at IGC meeting.
VII. VP Reports
A. VP - Programming - Nigel Pretty
- Valentine's Day Formal: Thursday, Feb 15th at 10 pm. Closed party and need
volunteers to set up. Contact Nigel to help set up. Black tie optional.
- Retreat set for March 23rd and is mandatory. Camping trip will serve as the
semester "Road Trip."
Intramural Chair: Rick Thompson
- Recap of CoEd Indoor Soccer Final Victory- Won 10-0 and Ricky pissed girls
off
- IM Soccer Team Lineup & Practice Info.- Practices 11 AM every Tues. and Thurs
at Levien Gym. Season starts after Spring break.
- 3-on-3 B-ball will be coordinated by Hwang. Will send e-mail with info.
Community Service Chair: Tom Huth

- Collection of dues for Spring Semester

- Objectives for Semester. Will start Recruitment Committee. Volunteers: Pelligrini,
Hoffstetter, Toolan, D. Parker, Agrawal, Gulko, Wall, Shaker, Cheung, Lora
- Upcoming Recruitment Events: West End Party at end of month? No go. Will check
SoHa to reserve space.

- Bowling trip this Saturday - 3 pm
- Upcoming events / suggestions for events Challenge forms distributed during
meeting. Challenge coordinators will now take attendance at their meetings.
- TIPS training (finally!) held on February ___. Will possible take place in
March.

- English and Glasco need to be on Sigma e-mail list. Gulko will set up freshmen
dinner at JJ Dining Hall.
Phi: Brother Lowe
- Bad attendance at last meeting (4 present). Will set up Phi project to help
with Valentine's formal.
Epsilon & Brother Mentor: Brother D. Parker
- Next meeting Friday at 9 pm.
Academic Chair: Brother Jelenko

- Keep sending e-mails about events you are participating in

- Chapter log to be compiled to include all brothers from the beginning

- Dates of Phi Rites of Passage: Group I: Feb 23rd @ 8 pm. Group II: March 2nd

IX. President's Report - Chris Fidyk
- Thoughts - Peter Belk is participating in Peace Games. Donations collected.
SigEp scholarships due March 1st. Talk to Fidyk to get applications. Concerned
about apathy growing in the chapter. May start making some more events mandatory.

After speech given, voted 22-6 in favor of Sicular. Vote tally by Beisler. (32

- Competition on SigEp trivia - Won by ??. "Prize" awarded.
- Letter to headquarters submitted regarding funds on house improvement - Not
discussed.
