Nadejda S. Michoustina


Biography

Nadia Michoustina received a Bachelor of Arts in English and French (1993) and a Master of Arts in English (1996) from the University of Texas at Arlington; a Master of Arts in Russian with a minor in Art History (1999) and a Masters of Philosophy from Columbia University (2005). She is currently completing her dissertation on Anton Chekhov and Photography at Columbia. Her research interests include Chekhov; History of Photography; Modernism; Vladimir Mayakovsky; Socialist realism; Feminist theory; Cultural studies; Critical theory; Foreign Language Acquisition; Pedagogy.
