Applications for admission to the graduate programs in the Department of Sociology are to be made through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to the application and all documentation required by the School, students seeking to enter the Department of Sociology should submit a sample of written work, typically 15-20 pages in length, with their application.
To be considered for a fellowship, applications for the doctoral program must be submitted no later than December 15. Applicants to the free-standing M.A. program are not eligible for funding and must submit their applications by March 15.
