Lecturer in Language (Spanish)

Since moving to Columbia from Princeton University, where he received his Ph.D. and was a Lecturer for many years, Xavier has served as Acting Director of the Language Program (2001-2002), advised Columbia College and School of General Studies students for several years, and initiated the Department’s Catalan course offerings. Above all, he enjoys the various classes that he teaches.
