SPEaK alums: where are they now?
New stuff as it comes in
SPEaK Vision:
As far as we can imagine into the future, SPEaK will be known for:
*creating or facilitating a nationwide network of student empowerment
*always being politically active
*taking a stand against ignorance and oppression on campus
*holding the university accountable
*keeping people informed
*it will seem natural for students to always be thinking actively and
critically
*being a source of knowledge and power in and of itself
*making sure everyone at CU knows what ethnic studies is
*being an organization that is confident enough in its cause to always
be respectful
*turning the campus into a place where speaking out is natural and expected
*turning the campus into a place where education is self-determined by
students
*being versatile enough to genuinely meet student needs
*making it obvious that all perspectives are integral to complete education
*being a bridge between academia and community
*retaining autonomy and self determination as an organization
*LOVE!!!
