Committees
Committees are formed at the initiative of the President
or the Board and may be discontinued if the mission is accomplished,
functions are no longer considered necessary, or leadership is not
available.
Doctoral Graduates Committee
The Doctoral Graduates Committee, a subcommittee of the Alumni Association, was established to find ways to develop closer professional connections between doctoral alumni and the School; to connect doctoral alumni with each other in the pursuit of common professional interests; to be conversant and to assist with the roles and functions of the School in promoting the goals and objectives of the profession; to enhance the interest and opportunities for doctoral graduates to stay meaningfully connected with the School.

Hall of Fame Committee
Honors distinguished alumni/ae who have made outstanding contributions to the theory and practice of social work and who, by their work and example, have added significantly to the image of the social work profession.

President's Advisory Committee
This committee is composed of Past Presidents, and provides continuity in the establishment and implementation of goals between terms of the Presidents, and recognizes and supports the accomplishments between terms of Presidents. It also acts as a consultant to the current Alumni Association President and participates in fundraising activities of the school.

Program Planning Committee
The Alumni Association’s Program Planning Committee seeks to provide guidance and professional development opportunities, networking and social events as well as other programs to the CUSSW community throughout one’s academic experience and career.
