Ms. Abbott worked as a clinical social worker with adults with chronic and persistent mental illness until 1979. During this time she supervised interns, social workers and members of other disciplines. She has worked for CUSSW since 1989 and in her present position since 1991. Ms. Abbott’s focus on supervision skills and knowledge developed during her years as an administrator and supervisor.
