Publications: articles on evidence based practice conceptualization, challenges, implementation, and practitioner training; engaging disadvantaged and depressed individuals in psychotherapy; providing culturally relevant brief interpersonal psychotherapy for depression to low-income, pregnant women; meta-analysis of treatment for depression during pregnancy and postpartum; the role of chronic stress, optimism, and perceived control in depression in low income women and new mothers; and barriers and promoters of mental health services utilization in Latino populations.
