Jennifer Elkins
Preceptor

Jennifer Elkins teaches a course on Clinical Case Evaluation at Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). She received an MSW from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at CUSSW.

Her professional experience includes counseling adults and children in the area of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. She has experience working with both victims and offenders. Her speciality and area of interest is in trauma and PTSD, particularly for children in the child welfare system.
