Alissa Hammerman
Adjunct Assistant Professor
Alissa Hammerman teaches Clinical Practice III for School Based
Services, Seminar In Field
Instruction, and is also a field faculty supervisor at the Columbia
University School of Social Work
(CUSSW). She received her Ph.D. from New York University School of Social Work in May 2000 and her
M.S.W. from Adelphi University in May 1985.
In addition, Dr. Hammerman is a school social worker at Commack Union Free
School
District; maintains a private
clincical practice in Manhattan and Long Island, and holds an adjunct
faculty appointment at New York
University School of Social Work.
