John D. Herron, MSW, MBA, has spent 39 years in the study and treatment of schizophrenia.  He is a clinician, teacher, researcher and administrator.  He received is BA in History from Loyola College in 1969, his MSW from the University of Maryland in 1975 and his Executive MBA from Loyola University in 1999.  Currently, he is the CEO of Harbor City Services a self-sustaining social enterprise employing individuals in recovery from mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.  He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and an instructor at the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business.  He is also the founder and past president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance.
