Michael Katch
Adjunct Associate Professor

Michael Katch has been affiliated with the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW) since 1986 and has taught courses in Social Work Practice, Group Work, and Social Work with People Living With AIDS. Dr. Katch received a Ph.D. in Social Work from New York University in 1989 and an MSW in 1971 from Adelphi University.

Dr. Katch had several clinical positions working with adolescents and adults in mental health settings. He has been an administrator for both mental health and AIDS programs. Currently Dr. Katch is an Associate Commissioner at the Administration for Children's Services. He has published in the areas of work with adolescents and work with groups.
