Cynthia Kolbowsi
Adjunct Lecturer

Cynthia Kolbowski received her Masters in Social Work at New York University in 1988. Since that time she has worked at New York State Psychiatric Instituteís Washington Heights Community Service in their Outpatient Mental Health Clinic as a Case Manager, Primary Therapist, and Intake Coordinator, working with adults and families. She has previously worked for the Instituteís Inpatient Unit, Mobile Geriatric Outreach Team, and Continuing Day Treatment Program. She is a Clinical Professor in Psychiatric Social Work for the Health Sciences Division of Columbia University, where she supervises students and presents annually to the Social Work Student Seminar. Ms. Kolbowski also maintains a private psychotherapy practice in New York City.
