Jonathan Lebolt
Adjunct Associate Professor

Dr. Jonathan Lebolt received a Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from The Union Institute in 1997 and an M.S.W. from Hunter College in 1991. He has also earned certificates in psychoanalysis and group therapy.

Since receiving his M.S.W., Jonathan has worked as a clinical social worker in both hospital and community-based mental health, HIV/AIDS and substance abuse clinics, primarily with adults in individual and group treatment. Currently, he is an independent practitioner specializing in cultural diversity. His publications include: "Pandora's Box: Diagnostic Disclosure with a Depressed Client" and "Gay Affirmative Psychotherapy: A Phenomenological Study," both in Clinical Social Work Journal.

Jonathan has taught courses in social work practice with individuals, families, groups and communities; sociocultural issues in social work practice; and current models of brief social work treatment at Adelphi, Fordham and NYU.
