Peggy LoVergine is an adjunct lecturer who presently teaches the Social Work Practice with Families and the Seminar in Field Instruction for field instructors. In the past, she taught at Columbia, the Alcohol and Substance Abuse practice course. She is also an Associate Director of Field Instruction responsible for the field placements that are in the areas north of The Bronx and the State of Connecticut.

She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 1980. Her training has been in Clinical Social Work with extensive experience with psychiatric populations and their families. She has a private practice with individuals, couples and families.
