Eri Noguchi teaches "Human Behavior and the Social Environment." She also serves as the Chief Program Officer of the Association to Benefit Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing early childhood, youth, and wrap-around family support services to children and families here in New York City. Professor Noguchi received her doctorate in Sociology from Columbia University. Her research interests include labor markets, poverty, urban sociology, social welfare policy, and civic engagement/participation. She is a member of the U.S. Basic Income Guarantee Network (U.S. BIG) and the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN), groups seeking to promote discussion and research on the merits of providing an unconditional guaranteed basic income to all people.
