Ann Panciera
Adjunct Lecturer

Ann Panciera teaches Field Instruction Seminar at the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). Ms. Panciera received a M.S. in Social Work from CUSSW in 1988. She has taught courses at the CUSSW since 1997, and since 1998 has also been a field advisor their.

Her field of practice and area of expertise is in family and children's services. She has worked for over 25 years in both child protective and preventive services as a caseworker, supervisor, trainer, curriculum developer, program director, and as a consultant. More recently, Ms. Panciera has worked on various projects involving domestic violence and its impact on child maltreatment. Currently she is evaluating an Urban Justice Center domestic violence project that was piloted in the Manhattan office of the Administration for Children's Services. Ms. Panciera is also a doctoral student at CUSSW.
