Enzo Pastore currently holds the position of Director of Public Policy with CIDNY, the Center for Independence of the Disabled -- New York in New York City. In that capacity he also serves as Director of New Yorkers for Accessible Health Coverage (NYFAHC). Prior to his arrival at CIDNY, Enzo spent the past 12 years in Washington, DC working on a variety of health policy issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, prescription drugs, improving access to the uninsured, child health and universal health insurance.

Enzo has worn a variety of government relations and public policy hats, as a research and policy analyst, a lobbyist at both the state and federal levels and as a grassroots organizer and manager. His work in DC has included organizations such as Families USA, the Center for Policy Alternatives as their Director for Health Policy, the American College of Cardiology as Assistant Director of State Legislative Affairs, and the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare where he was a Regional Grassroots Manager. Before moving to Washington, Enzo served as both the Supervising Advocate and Director of Advocacy for the Community Health Law Project in East Orange, New Jersey.

Enzo's prior experience as an adjunct professor was at the Graduate School of Social Services at Fordham University where he taught a course on social policy analysis and advocacy. He holds two Masters' degrees, one in Social Work and the other in Law and Social Policy, both from the Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
