Beth B. Rosenthal is a social entrepreneur with over 20 years experience as consultant to nonprofit organizations, networks, foundations and government agencies.
Her firm, Collaboration and Change, LLC, designs and manages large scale and single organization change efforts, conducts research and policy analysis, and builds successful collaborations and improves organizational capacity.
Ms. Rosenthal consults, teaches and trains on the topics of leadership, coalition-building, advocacy, community organizing and development, and nonprofit management.
Previously, Ms. Rosenthal was a community and labor organizer, and charter Executive Director of The Washington Heights-Inwood Coalition, a multi-issue organization serving a largely Dominican district. She also co-founded applied research projects on progressive social services, coalitions and feminist organizing, and has published articles, workbooks and studies of emerging social issues and structures for organizing.
She is currently on the faculty at the NYU Wagner School of Public Service and an associate of the Research Center for Leadership in Action there. She is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work, and a former Revson Fellow at Columbia.
