Hyo-Jin Shin will be teaching a Professional Immersion Seminar in the Spring of 2001 at the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). She received her MSW from CUSSW in 1991.

Since earning her MSW, Ms. Shin has worked as a social worker with adults in both inpatient psychiatric wards and outpatient mental health clinics at Elmhurst City Hospital, and with children and families at the Queens Child Guidance Center. She is currently a doctoral candidate at CUSSW, concentrating in children and family services.
