Mr. Shtayermman is teaching a course on Clinical Case Evaluation
at Columbia School of Social Work (CUSSW). He received his
M.S.W from New York University in 2001. Since receiving his
M.S.W, Mr. Shtayermman has worked as a social worker with adolescents
and their families at the behavioral medicine division of
Lincoln Hospital, and with adolescents in foster care with
a goal of independent living.
Currently, he is completing his doctorate education at Fordham
University Graduate School of Social Service, and serving
as the administrative assistance for the Institutional Review
Board (IRB) at Fordham University. Mr. Shtayermman's fields
of interest are: autism and Asperger Syndrome in adolescents,
adolescents' mental health, and LGBTQ issues.
