Erica Lynne Smith, PhD, LCSW is the Research Director of the Blue Sky Project, a randomized clinical trial for three evidence based practices at NY Foundling Vincent Fontana Center for Child Protection. She has worked in clinical social work in New York City for over 10 years in a variety of direct practice settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and social service agencies. Her work focuses on children and families involved in the child welfare system dealing with a variety of psychosocial issues. She recently joined a doula practice in New York City to expand her experience with Maternal Child Health issues. She received both her master’s and doctoral degree from Columbia School of Social Work with a concentration in developmental psychopathology.
