Donna Van Alst

Donna Van Alst teaches Program Evaluation in Social Services at the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). She received an M.S.W. from Rutgers University in 1997 and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University in 1992.

Since earning her M.S.W., Ms. Van Alst has conducted evaluations of child welfare, HIV/AIDS, early intervention, youth development and maternal and child health programs. Currently, she is the Associate Director of the Center for Children and Families, an applied social science research center at Rutgers University. She is currently a Ph.D. student at CUSSW.
