Susan Vorsanger teaches Social Welfare Policy at the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). She received an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in 1995.

After receiving her MPA, Ms. Vorsanger served as Coordinator for the Women’s Committee of One Hundred, a national coalition of feminist scholars and activists formed to influence welfare policy. She later worked as Manager, Special Projects for United Way of New York City, where she directed programs educating potential donors about the work of New York City’s non-profit agencies. She is currently a doctoral student in Social Policy at CUSSW.
