| About the Department
The Field Education Department is responsible
for implementing the course in Field Instruction. It does
this in several ways. It recruits appropriate sites to be
graduate placement opportunities for students and recruits,
screens and trains field instructors. It trains and supervises
field advisors and ensures the quality of the program through
systemic feedback. Members of the Department co-chair with
faculty the Field of Practice Advisory Committees. And the
Department sponsors such programs as the annual Field of Practice
Forum and the Placement Fair to aid students in their placement
and professional decision-making.
