About Us
Field Education is the core pedagogy of social work
education and practice. The Field Education Department works with over 600
agencies and organizations and places over 800 students annually. The dual
goal of the department is to connect the theoretical framework to social work
practice; and to support students as they learn to master the knowledge and
skills of the profession while serving individuals, families, neighborhoods,
and communities with dignity and respect.
