Student feedback is extremely important in maintaining a strong course in Field Instruction. Although we always appreciate informal
feedback about your placement experience we systematically collect data twice a year. In November you are encouraged to complete a
Fieldwork Feedback Form (Please refer to Appendix D in the Field Education Manual).
The purpose of this survey is for the Field Education Department to get a quick snapshot of students' field experience. Are you getting supervision?
Are you meeting with your field advisor? Do you have appropriate assignments? Etc.
At the end of the year, in your Practice Class, a comprehensive survey (Please refer to Appendix D in the Field Education Manual).
of your Field experience is distributed. Based on your feedback, decisions are made for the next year's assignment of placement sites, field instructors and field advisors.
Please take both of these surveys seriously. Each provides ample room for additional comments and we welcome your input. Your
input becomes part of the information upon which future Field Education decisions are made.
