Professional Education Network Scholarship (PENS) Provides
financial assistance for Jewish students interested in Jewish
communal service. Provides up to $4000 for MSW students per
year in any area of social work practice (clinical, group,
community, social policy, administration). Students who apply
for their first year may receive a maximum scholarship amount
of $8,000 for both years of study.
The scholarship requires that both years of student internship
take place in a UJA-Federation network agency. Students applying
in their second year must complete a one year internship in
one of UJA-Federation's agencies. All recipients of must also
commit to working within the UJA-Federation network of agencies
