CUSSW student Amanda Guarino Presidential Management Fellowship Finalist

PMF program places students at federal agencies in management positions.

2nd year Social Administration student Amanda Guarino is a finalist for the Presidential Management Fellowship. A PMF, as it is called, is a fellowship aimed at "attract(ing) into federal service outstanding individuals from a wide variety of academic disciplines who have an interest in, and commitment to, a career in the analysis and management of public policies and programs." The two-year paid fellowship places PMF recipients into a federal government agency in a management capacity.

"It has been a long, difficult and at times intimidating process but I am overjoyed with the news," said Guarino. She will travel to Washington DC in early April to attend the PMF job fair and find a position that matches her needs and interests.

Congratulations and good luck to Amanda!
