CUSSW Helps in Haiti

In light of the recent earthquake in Haiti, a number of CUSSW students have come together to form a new group, "CUSSW Helps in Haiti," to do our part in supporting the relief efforts in Haiti.  There are a number of Haitian students, faculty and staff at CUSSW who are products and believers of a resilient Haiti, and many of you who simply care and want to get involved. Please join us in getting much needed relief to Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas.

1) Monetary Donations
Monetary donations will be accepted from January 19th - January 28th from 12pm-2pm in front of the CUSSW Library on the 2nd floor. Members of the "CUSSW Helps in Haiti" team will be manning the tables. All proceeds will go to support Doctors Without Borders.

2) Haitian Relief Goods Drive
Donations will be collected through Friday, January 29th and can be dropped-off any time at the following CUSSW locations: lobby, in front of the 2nd floor library, 3rd floor student lounge area, 4th floor Student Union office. Please view this list for suggested donations and guidelines.

The CUSSW Helps in Haiti Team is confident that together, we can help save and rebuild lives. As the Haitian motto goes, "L'union fait la force!" ("Strength in Unity!")

To volunteer as a member of CUSSW Helps in Haiti or for more information, please contact Tania Clérismé or Lauren Thompson.
