SWAV Policies, Services and Guidelines
Classrooms
C01, C02, C03, C05, C06, 301, 302, 304, 305, 311, 312, 402, 404, 405, and 406
Basic AV, including use of the projector, computer, DVD player, and VCR, is available at no charge for CUSSW faculty, projects, administrators and sanctioned student caucuses and student union who have reserved the rooms through Virtual EMS or the room reservation
form, who have received AV training in advance, and provided
adequate notice during the during the
fall and spring term class
hours (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). For
non-CUSSW departments or groups during all hours, AV fees will apply. For

Conference Rooms
512, 524, 607,
702, 705, 802, 805, 924, 1101, and 1109.
Basic AV, including use of the projector, DVD player, and
VCR, is available at no charge for CUSSW faculty, projects,
administrators, and staff. (Bring your own laptop.) Advanced
reservations are required through the room reservation
form. Card swipe access after hours to floors 5 through
11 controls access to the conference rooms.

SWAV Fees
For Social Work Departments, Student Union, Students Caucuses and Projects
If Basic AV is required for events outside our hours of operation (SWAV Hours), a minimum 2 business days notice is necessary and fees will be charged to cover staffing and equipment requirements.
For AV services email swav@columbia.edu.
Given associated operating costs and resource limitations,
students are encouraged to make use of Lerner Hall for recreational
and social events.
Sanctioned Social Work Student Caucuses and Student Union receive an additional 20% off total AV services.

Cancellation Policy: A two business days' advance written notice to swav@columbia.edu is required.
Without this formal advance notice, AV fees will be applied.
Recommendation: As a matter of practice, event coordinators and users
should test out the facilities and media presentations a day or two
before important events to ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully.
