Problem:
I have accounts on
two machines, but would like e-mail to be sent to one
machine. I know about aliases, but would like to set
up a fowarding address in Pine or in Unix. How can I
do this?
Solution:
In Pine, as with most Unix-based mail packages,
set the forwarding address by creating (or modifying)
a file called .forward. This can be done with a Unix
editor. With the Pico editor, the command would be:
pico .forward
The contents of the file .forward
should be the full e-mail address to which you would
like your mail to be forwarded.
