Who We Are

A staff of approximately 40 is based at SIG’s offices on Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus at 1255 Amsterdam Avenue.  SIG currently conducts all intervention and assessment sessions at a temporary community space at 3280 Broadway in Manhattanville.  SIG staff also travels to study sites in Harlem, the Bronx, and throughout the NYC area. SIG’s current organizational structure includes a five-member management team, project staff, and administrative staff. SIG’s work is predominantly supported by grants from NIDA and NIMH, with a small amount of funding from private foundations.
