Submission Guidelines

The Columbia Science and Technology Law Review is always pleased to receive unsolicited submissions relating to any topic that falls under the rubric of science or technology and its effect on law and social policy. We will consider publishing standard, review-sized articles as well as shorter commentaries written by students, scholars or practitioners. We ask that the following conditions be met for all submissions:

  • submission in electronic format - either by email to submissions@stlr.org or on a 3.5" PC-formatted disk to the address below. Disk submissions should be labeled with the author's name, phone number, and the file name. Email submissions should contain the author's name and contact information. Note that hardcopy submissions are encouraged but not required. The File Format for electronic submissions must be Microsoft Word.
  • strict conformity with The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (16th edition).
  • inclusion of author contact information - address, phone number, fax number, and email address, if possible.
