Things to Do

Activate your Columbia UNI and email address.

Upload a photo for your University ID card by August 8.

Review your Student Account Statement online. Your statement will be available through Student Services Online (SSOL) on August 8. You will receive an alert at your Columbia email address indicating that it is available. Ensure that fall term payment is received by September 15 to avoid the late payment charge.

Complete the provided measles, mumps and rubella record and submit to Columbia Health by mail or fax before registering for classes (August 1).

Record your meningococcal meningitis vaccination decision online before registering for classes.

Choose one of three insurance options: confirm your automatic enrollment in the Basic level of the Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plan, upgrade your selection to the Comprehensive level or request a waiver. Do so online before September 30.

After you receive the Housing Incoming Students Welcome email later this summer*:

Complete your Housing Assignment Occupancy Agreement online by July 31.

Review and confirm your Dining Plan choice noted in the email you'll receive. Purchase optional Dining Dollars or a Flex account.
