NORDIC TRANSLATORS' NIGHT, featuring English translations from literary texts in Nordic languages. With Daniel Dale, Aili and Austin Flint, Robert Greer, Verne Moberg, and others.

NORDIC BOOK SALE at Deutsches Haus. Used books from and about Scandinavia. In Danish, English, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish.

"Ideas for an Ideal Society: Swedish and American Elements in Fredrika Bremer's Feminist Novel HERTHA (1856)," a talk in English by Åsa Arping, women's studies scholar from the University of Gothenburg.
