Tri-Captain...Two-time team MVP and was last year's EISL Champion in the 100 free Doherty returns for his fourth and hopefully most successful season as the Light Blue's top sprinter...A remarkable turnaround during his sophomore season catapulted him into one of the league's fastest sprinters...As a junior he reestablished his varsity record while winning the 100 free (44.66) and taking third and sixth, respectively, in the 50 free and 100 fly at the EISL Championships...Doherty went on to finish 13th (23.43) in the 50 meter free and 20th in the 100 meter free at the U.S. Senior Nationals, qualifying him for the Olympic Trials in the 50 free...Swam this summer with national power Irvine Novaquatics...Looking to finish his career with records in the 50 free and 100 fly as well as qualify for NCAAs and the Olympic trials...Three sport athlete at Henry Ford High School...History major.

The "Natural," Schultz retuns for another year as the Lions webpage master as well as one of the league's fastest backstrokers... Co-winner of the Most Outstanding Freshman award in 1997-98, he improved upon that performance last year with a runner-up finish in the 100 yd. backstroke...Turned in the meet's fastest time and established a new varsity record in leading off the Lions' 400 medley relay (49.36)...Was a part of four Lions relays, two of which were record setting...First Lion freshman to earn All-Ivy honors since 1985...High school All-America for Bedford North Lawrence High...Spent last summer as a computer science teacher's assistant and an assistant researcher...Computer science major.
