Thursdays // 8-12 pm, The Blue Gym, Dodge Fitness Center Sundays // 5-8 pm, The Blue Gym, Dodge Fitness Center West 119th Street & Broadway, Columbia University  November 4th, 2007 Regional Tournament Congradulations to Columbia Table Tennis Team for wining first place in both Co-ed and women event. David, Michelle, and Felix all beat their respective Rugters opponents and helped columbia to win that match 3-2, and we captured champion for the fall Regionals! Girls swept all the other teams and won the Women's event as well! Good job everyone! 2006 Columbia Coed Team finishes 13th at The Nationals. Women's Team finishes 7th. (standings here) (pictures here) Our coed team at the nationals consisted of David Wang, Felix
Yu, Richard Wagner, Zhaodan Huang, and Justin Sarma. We beat Harvard
and University of Nebraska, but lost to UCSD, University of Southern
Mississippi, and UVA. The women finished 7th, beating John Hopkins, but losing
to Texas Wesleyan, and USC. The team consisted of Zhaodan Huang, Miaoling
Huang, Xiaohong Zhang, and Lina Cao. We all had a great time bonding in Fort
Worth, Texas, and were proud to keep alive Columbia's tradition of making the
nationals every year.

Columbia hosts and wins annual Columbia TT meet! This was a friendly tournament we hosted that didn't count towards our NCTTA ranking, but nonethless, we beat teams from Princeton, FIT, Yale, and Brooklyn Polytechnic. |
