The NATIONAL CENTRAL LIBRARY is the sole national library of Taiwan. Founded in Nanjing in 1933, it has since relocated to Taipei. The library preserves many national publications for government, research, and public use. It aims to become the leading center for knowledge and information resources and services in Taiwan. The affiliated Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) is also a specialized center for Sinological research.
