These are the people who can advise you when you have any question or concern about a particular student in your class.

There are separate offices for First Year and Sophomores and for Juniors and Seniors , but if you're unsure of a student's year, just call any one of these advisors, and they'll put you in touch with the appropriate person.

Instructional Technology

CourseWorks
Columbia's online course management system. Use it to post your syllabus, readings, assignments, and audio or film clips. It also can be used to have an online discussion board, to send email to the class, and to post quizzes or surveys.

Center for New Media in Teaching and Learning

Visit the Faculty Support Lab in 204 Butler for help with instructional technology.

Electronic Classrooms
Descriptions of the resources available in each room, how to make reservations and a tutorial on using the podium.

AudioVisual Department
Can provide overhead projectors and slide projectors for a fee, so check first to see if your department has these.
