The Teaching Center is committed to working collaboratively to improve public education through community and school partnerships and professional development seminars for teachers.

During Summer 2008, Center Director Steven Mintz will direct an week-long teacher institute at the New York Public Library entitled "Teaching Digital History."

This seminar is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.

The seminar is limited to thirty participants by competitive application.
