GSAS Teaching Transcript

The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences will provide a Columbia University Teaching Transcript to GSAS students who are approaching their academic job search and whose application would be enhanced by the inclusion of a Teaching Transcript.

Students who have attended 12 hours or more of teaching professional development activities (including workshops, TA Orientation, and the Preparing Future Faculty series) offered by the Teaching Center may request a Teaching Transcript by e-mailing ja2310@columbia.edu. (We can confirm your participation by our registration sign-in records.)

Your Teaching Transcript will include all

  • Courses you’ve taught independently
  • Courses for which you’ve served as a teaching assistant
  • Teaching Center workshops you’ve presented or for which you’ve served as a panelist
  • Teaching Center workshops and orientations you’ve attended
  • Participation in the Preparing Future Faculty program
