Election & Induction
The top 12.5% of the junior class and 20% of the senior class qualifies academically for Tau Beta Pi.  Candidates are asked to submit a personal statement and may be asked to interview with the Executive Board.  Potential members of Tau Beta Pi should expect an e-mail about election sometime during the Fall Semester.  Induction will likely occur at either the end of the Fall Semester or the beginning of the Spring Semester.

TBP Tutoring and Big Sib/Little Sib Mentoring Program
Current Tau Bates are required to either participate in the Tutoring program or the Big Sib/Little Sib Mentoring program. Click here for more information.

Columbia Community Outreach
The New York Alpha chapter of Tau Beta Pi has traditionally participated in Columbia Community Outreach.  More information will become available in the spring.

Senior Dinner
Every year in May, Tau Beta Pi graduating seniors will be asked to join the annual senior dinner, where they will celebrate the end of their undergraduate days and to socialize with fellow Tau Bates.  It marks the culmination of four years of hard work at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
