Induction into Tau Beta Pi is held every year late in the Fall term, in the Davis Auditorium. 12.5% of the Junior class and top 25% of the Senior class are eligible candidates. Chosen candidates will then submit a personal statement and attend an interview in order to be inducted. Induction is mandatory, with a fee of $85; if a candidate cannot comply to any part of the induction ceremony, he/she cannot become a member.
