Synopsis
The film depicts events (1941-1943) of the Second World
War on the German-Soviet front, for example, the
Red Army takeover of the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv,
Artemivsk, Kramatorsk, Donetsk, and Mariupol. There
are scenes of the pro-Soviet guerilla camp of Sydir
Kovpak as well. Episodes of joint military operations
by the Soviet and Czechoslovak units are also featured.
The film was dubbed into 26 languages and widely screened
in Europe and North America. |
